Sunday, January 22
After some much needed rest we all woke ready to hit the road. We cleaned up, ate our muffins, had our morning worship, devotions, and prayers....then we were on the road again. As you can see from the pictures, the children are happy and occupied! And that makes everyone traveling HAPPY:-)
The weather has been a mix of sleet, snow, and fog! The fog made for slow driving, then later we hit a section of interstate that only 1 lane was open. When driving in that area we saw 3 cars got the road, then a few more miles up there was a 3 car accident. So "careful" our word for the day...we truly have felt the Lord's hand upon us as the miles pass! We are ever so thankful for His protection.
We are approaching the border crossing soon ...and as always praying it goes fast and "smooth".

No pictures posted with this - - only text. After reading others' blogs, they have had next to no snow all winter. I am soooo sorry you had it this weekend while traveling but am thankful you are still safe.
Hope you have a wonderful trip with lots of family fun and fellowship. Please be careful in all the bad weather. Enjoy your cousins!
