Flu :(

Another day of sickness!

Jonathan is still about the same, thankfully he doesn't have a fever. Fighting off illness is very difficult for Jonathan, so when he gets sick it seems to linger with him longer than it would for most. Then there is always the fear he'll get something secondary on top of that. So, we have to be careful and often times treat Jonathan as we would one of the littles. He is such a trooper and never complains when ill.

Ruth Ella has kept a fever between 102-103, she didn't sleep well last night. By 12:45AM I joined her in her bed for the rest of the night, she coughed all through the night and cried in her sleep. Today she took in lots of fluids, we cuddled, and she napped off and on. Late this afternoon I gave her a bubble bath to help reduce her fever, and to wash her hair which had sticky Popsicle in it...not to mention the huge tangles from laying so much. She got into a clean pair of jammies, and I braided her hair in hopes of keeping it from tangling again. We tucked her into bed about an hour ago, she said she didn't need me to sleep with her tonight. I think she is right, even as sick as she is she's much better than yesterday. This is her third day sick so I hope we are on the upswing now.

We might be adding another to the infirmed list, before bed Mary Ann had a low fever, so we'll see what tomorrow brings?!? Praying the Lord give them peaceful sleep and healing.
